Project: Minnesota Humanities Commission
Location: St. Paul, Minnesota
Area: 20,000 s.f.
Award-winning renovation of the old Gillette Children's School originally designed by Clarence Johnson on the
old hospital campus near Lake Phalen. The renovation directive was to design a multiple use facility for the Minnesota
Humanities Commission within the original building shell. Uses include staff offices, classrooms, library,
assembly area and sleeping rooms for overnight stays.
