Project: St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
New handicap-accessible entrance addition to church originally built in the 1910s. The new accessible entry
introduced a new floor level associated with a new on-site parking lot, a three-stop custom elevator, and an
exterior storage room for the church's maintenance equipment. The lower level of the church was 75% remodeled
to enlarge the fellowship hall, update the kitchen and existing restroom facilities along with the addition
of a new accessible unisex restroom. The main level was remodeled to include a new handicap ramp for access
to classrooms and the Pastor's study.
